FORGIVENESS CHALLENGE 2

Thanksgiving is what we do all of the times we want to show appreciation to God for what He has done in our lives!

It could be that course whose grade beat your expectation, that token you got when you needed it the most, that job you have always wanted, that husband or wife you have prayed to fervently about it, it could be that child you have continually asked God for years and it could also be that child who seems different from your other children, never representing you as you have always wanted. We ask for so many things from the Almighty and He does those things in his own time!

Thanksgiving simply puts us in that position where our Father in heaven see how grateful we are from the heart, thanksgiving prepares the way for more blessings as the lord wills but how open and clean is our hearts and minds when we go present offerings to God? Do we still bear that grudge against that man or woman who has offended us? Are we still finding it difficult to forgive our parents, spouses  or friends who offended us? Is it someone you offended who has truly not forgiven you?

Hear what the bible says…
‘’So if you are about to offer your gift to God at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your  gift there in front of the altar, go at once and make peace with your brother, and then come back and offer your gift to God.’’ (Matthew 5:23-24)

There are no two ways about these things for the idea is to make peace with all men because life is too short to harbour that unforgiving spirit!

May we find it in our hearts to forgive all who have offended us today.

Have a great week guys. I love you. Xoxo
