WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES

I said yes too fast''
I really did not pray about it''
I lied to myself''
I was led by my flesh''.......
I'm so sure this looks very familiar. Oh well, sometimes you have to admit you made a mistake and move on.

Because the truth is, in your heart you know what you are doing isn't right, you know when you have goofed...but there is that thing, I dont know if its fear, guilt or pride, that holds you in the dysfunction.

Mistakes dont define who you are. At some stage of our lives we make careless mistakes even when we feel we are in control of the situation. Mistakes are what make us human. Revered reader, dont drown in the pool of tears over that mistake you have made. There is always room for improvement.

Remember you are not God, you are not perfect either. Its allowed. Who cares what people think? People will always talk and most times misinterpret the mistake you made just to paint you the bad one. Will you rather live in frustration just to save face? It does not make sense, Ko le werk [it can't work].

You cant fall if you dont climb, but theres no joy living your whole life on the ground. No matter how long you have gone in the wrong direction you can always turn around. Your mistakes dont define who you are.
I made a huge mistake that turned around to affect me emotionally and psychologically. The good news is that I did not let that bring me down, I realized it was a costly mistake and mistakes are inevitable in life (nobody holy pass). Right now I have come to a place of wholeness, strength and joy. God pulled me out of a mess; I have a happy life free from abuse. No one can take the place of God, he rules and reigns forever. Man is mortal and his days on earth are numbered. When the end comes it is a glorious thing to turn to our maker, to dwell in his holiness and truth. The end of something can be the beginning of another thing. All is not lost. Whatever happens in your life no matter how distressing things might seem. When darkness appears endless, watch out for that tiny spark of light. And when you muster up the courage to thank God for closed doors… In the process of counting your blessings you find joy.

Every morning is an opportunity to redeem yourself of the mistakes of your past and push yourself towards a successful future. Just like foundation is the bedrock of success, a productive morning is the foundation of a great day at work.

I'm not excusing bad decisions, and I strongly believe we should train ourselves to hear and heed the voice of the Holy Spirit.

But when you have made a mistake, its wise to make a quick U-turn before you are stuck permanently.
You are stronger than you think, you will be surprised at the kind of strength you possess.

Cheers to a fruitful life!!🍾

  4. Awesome piece, thank you for the encouragement and simplicity. Forgiveness is not only meant for people who offend us, there's nothing we have that we didn't first receive. We should learn to receive forgiveness for ourselves also. 😘

I can perfectly relate with this. I can remember this time last year, things were going perfectly well and I felt like I was in 7th heaven. Praises were coming from all angles. I was so confident about the coming months and its possibilities but then I had a reality check and made probably the most stupid mistake I had ever made. It was a costly one but it made me realize how much I still had to learn. Rather than dwelling on the negatives though, I took it in my stride and took the positives instead.

Looking back, what looked like the worst error of judgement I had ever made now appears to be a blessing in disguise. I have truly grown because of it and I thank God for the light I have received as a result.

But I am sure this would not have happened if I had been all negative about the situation.

Awesome post!!! Well done and keep up the good work!
